Computers from The Netherlands

Last autumn Michiel Hendriks from Boxmeer wrote to Upendo Daima:

I find it super to hear that in November another container is going your direction. This way the computers can  reach their destination and be much more useful than in the attic where they are now. I have had already an email from Hans from Dunea and we will ensure that the computers will be loaded into the container in time.

Graduation

On October 10 , the standard seven graduation of 98 children of Nyamalango primary school took place of which 6 children from Upendo Daima. The graduation was celebrated by all pupils from standard one to standard six, teachers, the guest of honour, parents, representatives from the quarters Sweya and Kisoko, invited guests from different institutions, journalists and of course Upendo Daima.

My name is Benson Bernard Nyasebwa, BA in education, 35 years old and working as assistent director for Upendo Daima since 2012.

Visit of Bagamoyo Friendship Society Germany

September 2014

Lasy month Malimbe Family received a group of German people of the Bagamoyo Friendship Society. This group, consisting of teachers and business men/women, support a cultural exchange program between Tanzania and Germany.

Renovation Malimbe Family

Water experts visited BHH

Our assistant director has got married

On the first of May Benson Nyasebwa and Kandy Kilango got married. Benson is our assistant director since almost two years. Kandy is working as a teacher in Arusha.

Marga van Barschot and Hoja Tarsisius visited The Netherlands

Marga and Hoja visited the Netherlands in November and December. It was not only for a holiday after a very busy and energy consuming year to see family and friends but also to visit quite a number of sponsors of Upendo Daima.
